Raw Superfood Seed Bars

Inspired by Judita Wignall’s recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Maple Syrup, 1/2 Cup
  • 3 Tablespoons COCONUT OIL
  • CARWARI ORGANIC TAHINI, 1/3 cup
  • Vanilla Extract, 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Half a cup of GOJI BERRIES
  • 1 Cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • Sunflower Seeds 1 Cup
  • 1/4 cup of CHIA SEEDS
  • 1/4 cup of HEMP SEEDS
  • 1/4 cup Sesame seeds (black or White)
  • Half a cup of Shredded Coconut
  • 1/4 cup LOVING EARTH CACAO NIBS
  • Pinch of Salt

PROCEDURE:

  1. Mix melted coconut oil with tahini and agave in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a separate bowl.
  3. Mix well the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients.
  4. Blend half of the mixture in a food processor – pulse the processor until the mixture is broken down into small bits.
  5. Mix the blended mixture with the remaining half of the cross.
  6. Press firmly in a baking pan 20cm by 20cm lined with baking parchment.
  7. Place the frozen food in the freezer for about 1/2 to 1 hour.
  8. Store in the fridge or freezer to make them more firm.
  9. Keeps for up to 2 months in the refrigerator or freezer.

This recipe makes 16 seed bars.
